Peterson Zhou said "Asia provides unlimited potential for not only Washington State, but also for the United States. Our motherland China has already opened doors to all countries, especially two-way trade with America, my homeland. In the Northwestern Region, agricultural and forestry products, computer, software, internet, and bio- technology, coffee, airplanes and wine are just some of high quality products which are widely welcomed in China. In return, China has tremendous manpower, tremendous markets, a fledgling technology industry and a wealth of business opportunities for American entrepreneurs."

Zhou continued, "It is imperative for trade and business and academy communities in this region to see the great potential China and other Asian countries have to offer at this time, and seize the opportunity to build up strong personal and business ties with counterparts in China to secure a good position in the future global economy. Yet, we did not see the good policies and programs that tailor to such trend as we vision right now. Therefore, our organization came into being in the right time at a right place. Through our regular exchange and visitors program, we are very sure to play a positive role in promoting U.S. China trade and business relations. We will work in this direction in the future"
